Steve Gerber (Advisory Board)

Over 30 year’s executive experience in global M&A, strategic planning/marketing, and financial analysis in financial services, telecom, and manufacturing for mid-market and Fortune 100/500 companies, where he maintains strong C-Suite relationships.

Owned all buy and sell side activities, including identification/analysis of multinational acquisition targets, ran all aspects of due diligence, negotiations, closings, and integration, as well as successfully leading multiple divestitures.
Began his career on Wall Street at Irving Trust and National Westminster Bank, managing high net worth individual's assets as well as leading corporate cash management and treasury transactions.

After working 4 years at AT&T in a variety of executive leadership positions, he spent 15 years at Ingersoll Rand in a series of roles with increasing responsibility, culminating in a promotion to the Division's Executive Leadership team working for the President and Corp BD head. He also held a similar position at Sealed Air Corp.

Has been involved in an E-Learning & healthcare product start up, working for a PE firm, and spent several years at a national boutique management consulting & investment firm, where he developed the firm's Strategy & M&A Advisory Services practice, working on several carve out and buy side engagements, and is on the Board of Directors for KBE Enterprises.

Received his MBA from Rutgers Graduate School of Management (Finance and Marketing), and received BA in Economics from Rutgers University.

Robert Cohen (Advisory Board)

Over 30 year’s executive experience in global M&A, strategic planning/marketing, and financial analysis in financial services, telecom, and manufacturing for mid-market and Fortune 100/500 companies, where he maintains strong C-Suite relationships.

Experienced global medical device, biotechnology and pharmaceutical executive having served as President and CEO of several companies with full P&L responsibility, and has built and maintained investor, clinical, distribution, executive, technology, venture capital, and investment banking relationships that he has successfully leveraged for over 35 years.

Founded and grew an enterprise to a $90-plus million valuation over 7 years through technology development, commercializing two products, extensive partnering activities, reimbursement success, and $31 million in fund raising.

Prior to this, built significant shareholder value as a CEO through technology, product and business development, followed by the successful sale of the company to a larger entity. 

Has been responsible for successfully taking a company public on the NYSE, initiating and developing new products through to market, establishing a manufacturing facility in a foreign tax-friendly environment, leading a series of acquisitions, divestitures and licensing transactions ranging from several thousand dollars to almost one billion dollars, raising capital for early stage companies and building sales organization in the U.S. and abroad.

Has held 7 Board Membership positions over the last two decades, is an inventor of two patents (Fluid Flow Control Apparatus; Transdermal Systems for The Delivery of Therapeutic Agents Including Granisetron Using Iontophoresis), and is a published author and accomplished songwriter.

Holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in English from Bates College, his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Maine School of Law. Attended the Pfizer/Columbia University Graduate School of Business Program for Senior Management

Henry DeGeneste (Advisory Board)

Held senior executive positions for 35 years, including Managing Partner at Security Directors Advisory Group, Advisory Board member for KeyPoint Government Solution, SVP Global Security & Vice Chair of Crisis Mgmt. Committee at Prudential for 15 years.

Prior to Prudential, had a 23 year career at the Port Authority of NY & NJ, serving as the Director of Public Safety and Superintendent of Police, and served for over fifteen years on the faculty of the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York. He is a sustaining member of the Police Executive Research Forum.

Former Chair of the NYC Chapter of the American Society for Industrial Security, former Commissioner of the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, and former Commissioner on the NJ State Department of Corrections. Served as the President of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement ExecutivesNow President of HDG Consulting, Inc. which provides advice and assistance on operational risk, crisis management, criminal justice management and public policy administration. Provides strategic advice to corporations and higher education to manage risk and develop emergency and security programs, is a member of the Advisory Board for iJET Integrated Risk Management, and is actively involved in a wide variety of civic and public policy organizations (member of the Leadership Council of The Southern Poverty Law Center and the International Association of Chiefs of Police.

Bruce Molloy (Strategic advisor)

Bruce Molloy is a Strategic Advisor to Beechwood Capital Advisors. He has more than 25 years of experience with technology companies and their products.

Founded and led Molloy Group, an AI based, enterprise software company from startup to IPO (Molloy Group w/ ServiceWare.). He led Connotate, a machine-learning, web-mining company from zero revenues to market leadership in a field of 60 competitors.

Bruce has coached and consulted to companies in several verticals including technology, healthcare, finance, marketing, retail, education, and market research.Prior to this, built significant shareholder value as a CEO through technology, product and business development, followed by the successful sale of the company to a larger entity.

He has led product creation teams which have produced: Top of Mind Help Desk, Knowledge Bridge, Web Mining Server, and Agent Community which collectively have generated more than $50M in revenues. Customers have included: Bloomberg, Hewlett Packard, Novartis, Accenture, Morgan Stanley, Dow Jones, Reuters, CapIQ, and DOD.

He has raised funding, led M&A projects and provided advisory services for a variety of companies. He participated in the IPO process of Serviceware, raised more than $15M for various ventures, and managed acquisition processes for multiple companies which include a web hosting company, a health foods chain and a market research firm.

Consulting and advisory projects have included global business development for a telco tech firm, a research project on the use of AI in mobile apps, strategy and planning for a digital marketing company, innovation & ideation sessions for a major corporation, and creating a B2C business model for an e-learning company, and the commercialization of academic research.
